3D printed wrist splint
Individual project for the 3D Printing module: a lattice wrist and forearm splint modelled in CAD and analysed in ANSYS.
The brief
Design a 3D printed wrist splint for the 3D Printing module in my third year.
What I did
- Modelled a lattice wrist and forearm splint in CAD.
- Ran a structural analysis of it in ANSYS.
- Printed the splint in parts.
