3D printed shelf bracket
Individual project for the 3D Printing module: a shelf bracket modelled in CAD and analysed in ANSYS.
The brief
Design a 3D printed shelf bracket for the 3D Printing module in my third year.
What I did
- Modelled the shelf bracket in CAD.
- Ran a structural analysis of it in ANSYS.
- Printed the original design and an optimised version.
