Smart monitoring system
ESP32 condition monitor that streamed vibration, temperature and rotation data to a live cloud dashboard and raised alerts.
The brief
Monitor a machine's vibration, temperature and rotation, and warn when any reading reaches a preset threshold.
What I did
- Designed a threshold-based condition monitoring system around an ESP32.
- Sensors: MPU6050 for vibration and orientation, a thermistor for temperature, an LDR, and a Hall sensor for rotation.
- Sent the readings over Wi-Fi to an Arduino IoT Cloud dashboard.
Result
Logged readings over Wi-Fi to an Arduino IoT Cloud dashboard and showed a warning when any value reached its preset threshold.
